Ollage does not install third-party cookies, pixels, or tracking beacons. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel, or similar services. All engagement data is collected via first-party server-side logging and is tied at most to your bb_session cookie.
Your age-gate verification status for anonymous visitors is stored server-side keyed to your bb_session cookie. No separate client cookie is created for this purpose.
Ollage honors the Do Not Track (DNT) header if your browser sends one. When we detect DNT=1 we stop collecting passive behavioral signals — the things you do without deliberately acting: how long a clip stayed on screen, how much of it played, replays, scroll-pasts, which thumbnails were shown to you, and which you clicked. These are dropped both in your browser (never sent) and on our server (never stored if they arrive anyway). Deliberate actions you take — hearting a clip, filing it in an album, hiding it, downloading it, training or comparison votes, tournament picks — are still recorded, because they are the feature you invoked. Anonymous performance and error telemetry (page load timings, script errors) does not describe your behavior and is also kept. We do not use your behavior to target advertising or build audience profiles.
If your browser or device supports the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal and sends GPC=1, Ollage treats it as an opt-out request under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and similar U.S. state privacy laws, and applies exactly the same passive-signal policy as DNT above. Although Ollage does not sell or share personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising, we honor GPC to align with privacy-first browser behavior.
